Lemon rice

   Ingredients:   Cooked rice-you may adjust the quantity of rice as per the no. of people   Pinch of turmeric    Curry leaves   Lemon   Oil (preferably groundnut oil)   Green chillies slit   Salt as per taste   Seasoning :    Teaspoon of mustard seeds   Ground nut -1 table spoon   Jeera-1 teaspoon   A few red chillie   A pinch of hing(asafaetida)   Teaspoon of urad dal    Cashew nut optional Preparation time: 10 mins  Add turmeric and salt as required to the cooked rice. Fry the seasoning as mentioned .Add slit green chillies and sauté them .Once sautéed, add curry leaves . Combine the fried seasoning along with rice and also squeeze lemon juice and mix well . Pudina (mint) rice

Ingredients:    Cooked rice- 1cup (rice measure might change with the no. of people)    Mint    Coriander leaves    Green chilllies    Cashew nut -1teaspoon    Oil -2 teaspoons    Salt as per taste    Onions-2    Preparation time : 15 mins        1.Method of preparation:  grind mint, coriander leaves ,green chillies.  2. Slice onion lengthwise  and fry them in oil or ghee.  3. After frying the onions add the gravy and fry it till it is cooked ,add the cooked rice and salt to it, fry the cashew till it turns golden brown and add it to the rice.  4.  Serve pudina rice hot along with yogurt or raita.    Nutritional  value:     Vitamin A, virtamin C,  Carbohydrates,  Calcium,Vitamin B-12.

Curry leaf powder

Ingredients:  Two bunches of Curry leaves,  Dhaniya seeds-50gms,   Little tamarind,  Salt as per taste Red dry chillies (4-5) Preparation time: 10 mins.   Clean the Curry leaves with water and keep them to dry on a paper, after that fry dhaniya seeds without oil for few secs and fry curry leaves for one min and mix all the ingredients and make powder coarsely. You can use it for 15 days. Nutritional value of Curry leaves:  Curry leaves are rich in minerals and vitamins. They are good for hair, skin, liver, eyes, heart ,anemia.

Groundnut powder

Ingredients: Groundnut-250 gms  Red chilli- handful,  Salt as for taste  Garlic -6 cloves   Jeera-1table spoon Preparation time: 10 mins    Fry groundnut without oil till it gives good smell, later add red chilli ,to become warm and then add jeera to it and garlic too.  Keep it aside to become cool, later add salt to it and grind it coarsely. You can use for one month. Nutritional values:  Peanuts are rich in energy and contain  health benefiting nutrients, minerals,antioxidants,and vitamins.

Chutney dal powder

Ingredients:    Chutney dal    Handful of red chillies    Black pepper -1 table spoon     Jeera-  1 table spoon     Salt as per taste Preparation time and making time: 5 mins       Combine all the ingredients and make a fine powder Note: There isn’t any need to dry roast any ingredient.You can directly grind it.
