Sword beans ( Tammakayalu ) curry

Ingredients : Sword beans ( Tammakayalu) - 1/4 kg Salt as per taste  Turmeric powder one pinch Tamarind pulp - 1 Tablespoon  Chilli powder - 1 Teaspoon  Oil - For seasoning  Curry leaves and coriander leaves - Handful Green chillies - 2 Seasoning - Urad dal, chana dal, mustard seeds, cumin seeds,  one teaspoon each, dry red chillies -2 Method of preparation  :  1. Clean and cut the Tammakayalu ( Sword beans)  into small pieces. 2. Put a pan on the stove, add oil then prepare seasoning, then add curry leaves, green chilli pieces,  boiled beans, turmeric powder, salt. 3. Cook it for few mins. 4. Add tamarind pulp too , and add coriander leaves too. 5. Add onions too ( Optional).

Potato and peas tikki

Ingredients : Potatoes - 2 Peas - 150 gms Onion-1 Salt as per taste Kasoori methi - 1 Teaspoon Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon Black salt - 1/4 th teaspoon Red chilli powder - 1 Teaspoon Cumin seeds powder - 1 Teaspoon Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon Lemon juice - 1 Teaspoon Besan - 1/2 Tablespoon Bread crumbs - 1/2 tablespoon Method of preparation : 1. Take a bowl add in the mashed vegetables, finely chopped onions, and dry masalas. 2. Combine well. 3. Add basin and bread crumbs , form a dough . 4.Take small portions, and make it into a small balls, shape it into tikkis, shallow fry it on a dosa pan, roast till it gets golden brown colour both sides. 5. Serve it with ketchup.

Bread Pakoda

Ingredients : Bread slices Oil for deep frying For stuffing: Potatoes Salt Cumin powder Garam masala Black salt Red chilli powder Coriander leaves Green chilli Lemon juice For green chutney: Coriander leaves Mint leaves Green chillies Ginger - half inch Garlic Cumin seeds Lemon juice Salt as per taste Chaat masala For batter: Besan Ajwain (Carom seeds) Red chilli powder Salt Turmeric powder Baking soda- a pinch Water as required   Method of preparation : 1.  Mash the boiled potatoes , and mix the ingredients given above for stuffing and keep aside. 2. Take a mixi jar, and add in all the ingredients for the green chutney with the ingredients mentioned, make a fine paste with adequate water. 3. Ensure the consistency of  chutney is proper. 4. Take a bowl, add in besan and other dry ingredients and add water , prepare a batter and keep aside. 5.  The batter should be slightly thick and not  too thin . 6. Tomato pickle :

Ingredients : Tomatoes -  1kg Rock salt powder 1/4 kg Tamarind - 100 gms Chilli powder - 1/4 kg Methi powder -  50 gms Mustard seeds powder. - 100 gms Groundnut oil. - 500ml Hing - As per taste Dry red chillies - 50 gms Mustard seeds - 2 Tablespoons Methi seeds. - 2 Teaspoons Method of preparation : 1.  Cut the tomatoes into pieces and add salt to it. 2. Keep it aside for 3 days. 3. Take out the liquid from tomato pieces and on the third day, and tamarind to the liquid and soak it , and keep the liquid under sunlight for one day. 4. Keep the tomato pieces in sunlight for one day. 5. Add turmeric powder, methi powder, mustard seeds powder, chilli powder and the tomato pieces too , to the liquid. 6. Mix all the ingredients and grind it well in a mixi . 7. Prepare seasoning with methi seeds, dry red chillies, and mustard seeds and asoefitida using groundnut oil. 8. You can store it for few months.
