Bread Pakoda

Ingredients :
Bread slices
Oil for deep frying
For stuffing:
Potatoes
Salt
Cumin powder
Garam masala
Black salt
Red chilli powder
Coriander leaves
Green chilli
Lemon juice
For green chutney:
Coriander leaves
Mint leaves
Green chillies
Ginger - half inch
Garlic
Cumin seeds
Lemon juice
Salt as per taste
Chaat masala
For batter:
Besan
Ajwain (Carom seeds)
Red chilli powder
Salt
Turmeric powder
Baking soda- a pinch
Water as required
 
Method of preparation :
1.  Mash the boiled potatoes , and mix the ingredients given above for stuffing and keep aside.
2. Take a mixi jar, and add in all the ingredients for the green chutney with the ingredients mentioned, make a fine paste with adequate water.
3. Ensure the consistency of  chutney is proper.
4. Take a bowl, add in besan and other dry ingredients and add water , prepare a batter and keep aside.
5.  The batter should be slightly thick and not  too thin .
6. Take a bread slice , spread evenly the green chutney and the potatoes stuffing on top and spread it thoroughly.
7. Cut the bread diagonally and place the sliced  bread ,on top of the other.
8. Dip the bread in the batter prepared , and slowly drop it into the oil which is on a heat between medium to high flame.
9. Fry the bread till it golden brown on both sides.
10. Serve the Pakoda with green chutney, tomato ketchup or with any of chutney of your preference.
11. Serve the Pakoda with hot tea.
