Tomato pickle :

Ingredients :
Tomatoes -  1kg
Rock salt powder 1/4 kg
Tamarind - 100 gms
Chilli powder - 1/4 kg
Methi powder -  50 gms
Mustard seeds powder. - 100 gms
Groundnut oil. - 500ml
Hing - As per taste
Dry red chillies - 50 gms
Mustard seeds - 2 Tablespoons
Methi seeds. - 2 Teaspoons

Method of preparation :
1.  Cut the tomatoes into pieces and add salt to it.
2. Keep it aside for 3 days.
3. Take out the liquid from tomato pieces and on the third day, and tamarind to the liquid and soak it , and keep the liquid under sunlight for one day.
4. Keep the tomato pieces in sunlight for one day.
5. Add turmeric powder, methi powder, mustard seeds powder, chilli powder and the tomato pieces too , to the liquid.
6. Mix all the ingredients and grind it well in a mixi .
7. Prepare seasoning with methi seeds, dry red chillies, and mustard seeds and asoefitida using groundnut oil.
8. You can store it for few months.
