Lemon rice
Ingredients:
- Cooked rice-you may adjust the quantity of rice as per the no. of people
- Pinch of turmeric
- Curry leaves
- Lemon
- Oil (preferably groundnut oil)
- Green chillies slit
- Salt as per taste
- Teaspoon of mustard seeds
- Ground nut -1 table spoon
- Jeera-1 teaspoon
- A few red chillie
- A pinch of hing(asafaetida)
- Teaspoon of urad dal
- Cashew nut optional
Preparation time: 10 mins
Add turmeric and salt as required to the cooked rice. Fry the seasoning as mentioned .Add slit green chillies and sauté them .Once sautéed, add curry leaves . Combine the fried seasoning along with rice and also squeeze lemon juice and mix well .
Serve hot .
