Lemon rice


   Ingredients:
  •   Cooked rice-you may adjust the quantity of rice as per the no. of people
  •   Pinch of turmeric 
  •   Curry leaves
  •   Lemon
  •   Oil (preferably groundnut oil)
  •   Green chillies slit
  •   Salt as per taste
  Seasoning :
  •    Teaspoon of mustard seeds
  •   Ground nut -1 table spoon
  •   Jeera-1 teaspoon
  •   A few red chillie
  •   A pinch of hing(asafaetida)
  •   Teaspoon of urad dal 
  •   Cashew nut optional

Preparation time: 10 mins

 Add turmeric and salt as required to the cooked rice. Fry the seasoning as mentioned .Add slit green chillies and sauté them .Once sautéed, add curry leaves . Combine the fried seasoning along with rice and also squeeze lemon juice and mix well .
Serve hot .
