Bisibhille bath
- Rice - 1 Glass
- Tovar dal - 1/2 Glass
- Curry leaves as per taste
- Vegetables-Brinjal, onion, green peas, cluster beans, nulkhol, carrot, radish , drumstick etc
- Cashew nut - 1tablespoon
- For bisibelebath powder - 2 cardamom, 1 Teaspoon chanadal, 1 inch cinnamon, 2cloves, 1Teaspoon coriander seeds, 1teaspoon jeera, fresh coconut gated one piece, 3 red chillies
- Tamarind pulp - 1 Tablespoon
- Jaggery - 1 Teaspoon
- Seasoning - Mustard seeds, jeera , cardamom , dry red chilli one teaspoon each, asoefetida as per taste..(with ghee) .
- Salt as per taste.
- Turmeric powder - 1Teaspoon
1. Wash the tuvar dal and add 11/2 cup water to it and keep aside for sometime, then cook along with rice in a pressure cooker till you get 3 whistles.
2. Roast all the spices, and grind it to a powder and keep aside.
3. Keep a pan on the stove , put ghee into it and add seasoning ingredients and later curry leaves, then add the Vegs including onions and let it cook for sometime.
4. Add the rice and tuvar dal to the Vegs , then add masala powder , salt, turmeric powder , tamarind pulp, jaggery and add little water, let all the ingredients mix well and cook nicely.
5. Lastly garnish with coriander leaves and garnish with Bondi and serve hot with curd chutney.
