Kaju katli

Ingredients:
  • Kaju - 100 gms
  • Sugar - 100gms
  • Cardamom-3 made into powder
  • Kewra water optional - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Ghee - 2 Teaspoons
Method of preparation :
1. Grind cashew nuts into a fine powder.
 2. In a pan,add one cup of sugar ,one cup of water and make sugar syrup of one string consistency, add cashew  powder,ghee,saffron, kewra water and cardamom powder .
3. Stir it till it becomes like a smooth dough just like a roti dough.
4. Apply few drops of ghee on a plate and transfer this dough on to the plate and spread it equally.
5. Let it cool down after which cut it into pieces and store it. Kaju Katli will be fresh for 3- 4 days.

Nutritional values of Cashew nuts:  Cashew nut contains iron, magnesium , Vitamin B6 and protein.
