Potato kurma ( Aalu kurma) :

Ingredients:
Potatoes - 300 gms
Green peas - 50 gms
Ginger garlic paste - 1 Teaspoon
Green chillies slitted - 3
Curd - 1 Small cup
For a paste  :  Cashew nuts - Handful, poppy seeds - 1 Tablespoon ,  coconut pieces ( fresh), coriander seeds, cumin seeds
Onion  - 1 Big
Tomatoes  - 2
Turmeric powder one pinch
Chilli powder  - 1 Teaspoon
Coriander leaves  - Handful
Cinnamon stick. - 2 inches
Cardamom - 2
Cloves - 3
Garam masala powder - 1 Teaspoon
Salt as per taste
Oil - 1 Tablespoon

Method of preparation  :
1. Boil the potatoes in a cooker , by adding water to potatoes.
2. Put a pan on the stove add oil, add garam masala ingredients, later add onion and tomatoes ( make them into tiny pieces).
3. Add turmeric powder, salt and boiled potatoes and green peas.
4. Then add the paste, garam  masala powder,  turmeric powder, ginger and garlic paste,  chilli powder , green chillies slitted , let all the ingredients mix up well, later add the curd, let it get cooked for few mins and add the coriander leaves for garnishing and  for good flavour.
5. You can serve this kurma with chapathi / roti or biryani.
