Beetroot chutney
Ingredients :
1. Clean the beetroot with water and peel off the skin, then cut into small pieces.
2. Fry them in little oil till it reduces raw smell , then take it into a bowl.
3. Later fry red chilli and green chilli in same oil.
4. Fry coriander seeds and jeera for few seconds.
5. Then make seasoning with above ingredients adding curry leaves to it.
6. Take beetroot pieces coconut pieces, red chilli and chilli fried salt and turmeric into a mixi jar.
7. Grind the ingredients and add seasoning to the chutney.
Nutritional values :
Helps lower BP, it may prevent cancer, good source of potassium, good source of other minerals, provides vital, and it may reduce cholesterol.
- Beetroot - 2
- Red chilli and green chillies two of each
- Coriander seeds -1Teaspoon
- Jeera - 1Teaspoon
- Seasoning - Chanadal, Urad dal, mustard seeds, jeera, methi seeds one teaspoon each , asoefitida one pinch ( garlic optional)
- Curry leaves
- Coconut few pieces
- Oil for seasoning
- Salt per taste
- Turmeric powder
