Mavidikaya gangabayalu pappu ( mango and leafy veg dal)

Ingredients:
  • Tuvar dal - 2 cups
  • Mango one medium sized
  • Gangabayalu leafy veg  - 3 bunches
  • Salt as per taste
  • Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
  • Chilli powder - As per taste
  • Seasoning - Urad dal,  chana dal, mustard seeds,  jeera  each one teas spoon dry red chillies - 2 , asoefitida one pinch .(garlic can replace asoefotida).
  • Coriander leaves and curry leaves for garnishing.
 Method of preparation:
1. Clean dal and leafy veg with water .
2. And add dal, leafy veg , mango pieces and  two green chillies into the cooker and let it cook for three whistles.
3. Then add  salt , turmeric powder,chilli powder, curry leaves, coriander leaves and let the spices mix well while cooking the dal for 5 mins.
5.Later add seasoning to the dal. Serve it with hot cooked rice.

Nutritional values: Protein, carbohydrates, vit A, vit C.
